Materials
Each painting is unique and original. All paintings are created on stretched canvas, using acrylic paint. Other materials have also been used for effect and texture, such as fabrics, feathers, stones, crystals, glue, glitter, resin and others.
Shipping time
Paid for paintings are posted within 3 business days.
Shipping costs
For the UK, I have opted for free postage. For USA and Europe, I have added shipping costs based on Royal mail prices for parcels. I am more than happy to de-frame paintings, if you have a local framer who could stretch them back up for you. This would save on size and weight, and ultimately shipping costs, so please contact me to confirm.
Returns
In the unlikely event that you would like to return a painting, please contact me in the first instance.
- I would accept returns within 14 days of purchase.
- Postage costs will not be refunded.
- Buyer covers return postage costs.
- Please ensure that the paintings are well packed to prevent any damage during transit.
My current pricing structure is £0.20 per square inch (height by width). I review this structure once a year to ensure that my art is competitively priced.
Who am I
My website address is: https://www.pstoevagallery.com. The website was created via WordPress and any data capture is accessed via WordPress dashboard (such as your postal address once you have placed an order).
What personal data is collected and why
1) Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, data shown in the comments form is collected, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
2) Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
1) Cookies
If you leave a comment on my site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, several cookies will be set to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
2) Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
1) Who is your data shared with.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
2) How long is you data retained for.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so that any follow-up comments can be recognised and approved automatically instead of being held in a moderation queue.
For users that register on my website (if any), I also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
3) What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that I erase any personal data held about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
4) Where is your data sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
