This is a large abstract painting with deeply contrasting colours (light and dark) and scored paint creating gentle swirling texture. The inspiration for it is the unavoidable change of life, we can resist it but we can't escape it. One of my philosophies in life is to be flexible in the wind of change, ridgity will only lead to "breakage".
This is an abstracted representation of chrysanthemums in vibrant colours. As you may know, my art expression in two words is "colour" and "texture"; this painting encompasses that beautifully.
