This piece is about the power of dreams – the way scenes shift and change, the intense real-life-like emotions, the presence of people we feel without seeing any faces. The contrast really makes this canvas alive, as the eye registers dark and light shapes in the multiple paint layers. I love all my artworks, but some are harder to let go of – this is one of them.
