I love the vintage, old-fashioned look of this artwork. The colour scheme is reserved, subdued, as if hibernating, and then pops the vibrant orange to wake the senses. The title came from the rectangular “stamp-like” shape (focal point for me) in the left half, which reminded me of the wax stamp I put on all certificates of autheniticity.
This artwork was inspired by “The traitors”. Yes, that’s right. I don’t spend much time watching TV and there are few programmes that captivate me – this is one of them. Each life story slowly unravels as people are pushed beyond their comfort zone and squirmingly adapt to the challenge in front. Human phychology – isn’t it fascinating?
A large, statement piece, which at first glance looks somewhat insecure and self-doubting due to the negative space (white, blank canvas). Until one allows themselves to notice the protruding 3d elements, the blended pale notes, the drips, the framing lines and shining silver – it is all beautifully connected.
I appreciate the Spanish tradition of bull-fighting (though I am happy views have changed); there is such drama in the idea of a puny human facing a full-grown raging bull. I see that drama on these circular canvases (representative of the bullrings) and the magnitude of the experience through the colours and their interactions.

This is a trio of paintings framed in glassed frames. The paintings are gently textured and colourful, with contrasting dark and light. To me it feels like soft cotton still clinging to the plant.
I’ve developed a real affinity for this style of artwork. There’s something about the central line – to me, it feels like continuity, like connection but also division. This canvas started busy but the off-white and gold brush strokes helped give it a delicate feel. Much to see and ponder over.
A captivating composition with several focal points, defined by the bird-like shapes, and plenty of “negative” grey space to off-set the bright reds. The title came from the shapes and brush strokes suggesting flight, soaring, landing – birds make it all look effortless. Having said that, watching swans lift off, in Pittville park (in Cheltenham), is really not effortless. 😊
Another of the poppies, mountains schene with a suggestion of calm flowing water and distant grassy fields. I went easy with the paint here, allowing underlayers to come through – I love this technique and will use it more. It looks to me like the largest poppy is looking at the mountaince, hence the title.

This idea of this painting was clear but it took a while to feel that I have put on the canvas the complexity of family life, as I see it. All relationships need continual effort from both sides to remain strong and nurturing, but when children arrive, everything turns upside down. Finances, emotions, dynamics, responsibilities - everything shifts into new…
A gorgeous abstract painting in calm and earthy tones, that's where the title came from. I am such an earthling - I love walking barefoot on the grass, I love hugging trees and getting my hands dirty in the garden. What a joy it is to be part of life.
A stunning combination of cool colours with warm shiny gold elements. It was such a joy adding layers and marks until the painting took shape. The painting feels like a mark in my evolution as an artist where sharper lines work together with the flow of circles. (80cm x 60cm, 31.4” x 23.6”)
I am a deep thinker and my art is rarely about what you see but how it makes you feel and how I felt when creating it. This dramatic artwork is for all the thinkers and over-thinkers out there, who like me, need to make a conscious effort to stop a thought from developing too far and creating a mountain…
It is undeniable that I have changed as an individual, I have mellowed down and it seems that my art reflect that change with curves and circular moves. I still love lines and square shapes, but it feels good to allow and be flexible and flowing. This artwork feels like a dance.
I have many “favourite” colour combinations, “blue and orange” is one of the most striking. Here I used a new metallic turquoise as well, and oh how I love it. It is eye catching from every angle.
This is an abstracted representation of chrysanthemums in vibrant colours. As you may know, my art expression in two words is "colour" and "texture"; this painting encompasses that beautifully.
Colours that feel like the world to me, hence the title. The inspiration came during a family holiday in Corfu. Since becoming parents, life became quite routine – work, day care, family, we didn’t go to many holidays abroad. Corfu was not our first but it was special, recharging, inspirational.

A lovely abstract piece, in bold tones and marks. What this painting represents is life, its ups and down, its softness and sharp, cutting edges, and also its beauty. Much like these beautiful flowers that so many of us love, even their thorns.

This is a gorgeous large abstract painting of a woman with a calm peaceful expression. Her serene demeanour is juxtaposed with the sharp dark lines and random colours, to highlight one message - all that matters is now.
I adore the look and feel of trees. They don’t need anything that we provide yet give us life. If left in peace they will grow as tall and strong as they can, no ifs and buts. They say with maturity comes appreciation of solitude and one’s own company; I guess that makes me very mature 😊
A large abstract painting, with gorgeous colours and marks. It is my representation of moving forward - it doesn't usually happen in a straight line, in fact, most of the times it is more like a zig-zag. And if we look around, there are always stepping stones to support our forward journey.

This is a gorgeous abstract painting with only a few colours, which compliment each other beautifully. There are visible scores of the paint creating delicate texture and interesting focal points.
Time travel - fiction or reality, what do you think? At times it felt like this canvas will never get finished – travelling to the future would have made things much easier for me 😊 but as I always say the joy in creating something is not just the end result but the process. For now, I shall be time…
A feel-good painting. I used my widest brush to swipe vivid and bright colours and as the white canvas got covered, the swipes felt like speed and haste – the idea about the title was born. Soft grey helped to provide balance and softness, and as you look closer, nuggets of colour and texture catch the attention.

This paintings speaks adventure to me. When I look at it, my eye can't help but linger over the textured lines, as if they were clues to follow. Inspired by the numerous films and stories we’ve gone through with my son about pirates, adventures and hidden treasures.
